DIEGO DE GIRÁLDEZ HOUSE MUSEUM

The Museum hosts a solo exhibition of his work that will be open from May 24, every Sunday of the months of June and July in the afternoon. Free admission.
The renowned painter Diego de Giráldez opens its third consecutive home studio museum in A cañiza where exhibits and displays a collection of 250 works.
This building, of over 1000 m five storys high, is situated in the town and city and presides over the square of the town, but will have its entrance on the street Botica.
In the course of 1500 meters of exhibition, visitors can see, know and admire the prolific work of this renowned painter, creator of the NAS realism ( naturalism, abstraction, surealism), meaning that is known to his painting and own merits and for its exceptional qualities years ago reached a significant place in contemporary Spanish painting.
Giráldez Diego is considered by experts as an inimitable portrait of nature, able to offer the reality of the everyday with all simplicity, escaping from the  profusion and the ornament, using the minimum and adding visual elements to his work a clear vision the natural  world- His works always permeate the viewer a hint of embarrassment and aggravation. His painting never goes unnoticed because it is dotted with innumerable and sometimes minute details and essences that the human eye is forced to decipher and understand.
